BeatFlex Radio is an internet radio station based in Utrecht. For over 20 years, the station offered the best in hip-hop and R&B, but it has since shifted its musical direction. The focus is now entirely on electronic dance music (EDM), including house, techno, and trance—perfectly catering to fans of club and festival sounds. The station’s offerings span a wide range of styles, such as deep house, Latin house, tech house, progressive house, and funky/jackin’ house.

The station is known for its high-quality broadcasts and its commitment to showcasing the latest and best tracks. Its programming typically features live DJ sets, carefully curated playlists, and special broadcasts or guest mixes from both emerging and established artists within the electronic music scene.

Behind the scenes, BeatFlex has made significant strides over the past two decades, growing to encompass four studios. Studio Rotterdam was added in 2008, followed by Studio Amsterdam in 2015, and later, Studio The Hague. Unfortunately, the further development of the The Hague studio was brought to a halt by the COVID-19 pandemic in 2019/2020; the measures in place at the time prevented further expansion.

In addition to its radio broadcasts, BeatFlex operates its own production arm dedicated to creating music. Initially, this focused primarily on up-and-coming talent, including local DJs, singers, rappers, and bands. Since 2010, this branch has grown steadily, reaching an absolute peak between 2021 and 2024. During that period, international sales of beats took off significantly, thanks to a partnership with the Chicago-based (USA) firm Reign Agency. Through this agency, BeatFlex gained access to a vast global network of DJs, models, artists, and fellow beatmakers.
