Csulb 2023 Academic Calendar
The Associate in Arts for Transfer (AA-T) and Associate of Science for Transfer (AS-T) degrees offer two-year degrees and are fully transferable to CSU. CSU transfer students cannot earn more than 60 semester units or 90 quarter units as graduate degree transfers (UDTs).
Scholarship Applications Now Open For 2022 2023 Academic Year
Through these transfer partner institutions—sometimes called guaranteed admission—students who meet CSU’s minimum eligibility requirements are guaranteed priority admission to a CSU campus, but not necessarily to a specific campus or major. .
With a transfer certificate, students will be able to earn two degrees – associate’s degree and bachelor’s degree – with only 120 units, provided they transfer to a program at CSU that is similar to their associate’s program at .
CSU campuses, especially in Southern California, receive the largest number of applications – of all campuses that can accept them. That’s the CSU effect. Check CSU campuses and community colleges for their local admissions and service areas.
Associated Students, Inc
Of CSU’s 23 campuses, most alumni transfer to CSUF (Fullerton) and CSULB (Long Beach).
Our local CSU reception and service area is CSU Fullerton. A transfer graduate applying to CSU Fullerton will receive preferential admissions credit – get an admissions offer! – with flexible GPA cutoffs compared to applicants who graduated from community colleges outside of Orange County and may need higher GPA cutoffs.
CSU Long Beach determines which transfer applicants will receive “Regional Preference” for admissions consideration based on specific high school graduation and veteran military status, not by regional admissions and area of employment. Students who graduated from Long Beach High Schools or certain OC High Schools (see OC High Schools here) will have priority for admission. Bragging rights: CSU Long Beach receives the most applications through the CSU system, which runs admissions competitions.

From incarceration to graduation, CSU’s Rebound Project supports the successful higher education and integration of “Hope Scholars.” See Advise and make an appointment to discuss Level 1 and Level II options and how to complete the major requirements of the CSU course.
All 23 CSU campuses offer services, support and community for LGBTQIA+ students, faculty and staff. Research the various clubs and organizations on each CSU campus by clicking on “clubs and organizations” on the CSU campus websites.
Check the dates and deadlines for applying for early and extended applications at CSU and the main campus. CSU’s fully online programs, offered through University Extension, have extended application deadlines in May or June.

Don’t wait until the deadline to start your application. You can (and should) complete the application before Thanksgiving.

In The News
After you submit your application to CSU, check your email frequently for CSU messages and instructions. The CSU campus you applied to will inform you of the status of your application, may request additional information, and when they request an official or unofficial document to verify what you submitted yourself in your application.
Have you accumulated enough units during the semesters to graduate with a degree or certificate? Congratulations! This is an important milestone.
Once you’re ready to complete the formalities, you can focus on celebrating and attending the opening ceremony (held in the spring).

In case of full payment, the student pays one fee for room and board for the entire academic year. They will not have to pay any additional fees.
Calendar Of Events
The installment payment plan requires students to pay for the room and board plan in eight monthly installments during the academic year. Students who choose the installment plan must pay a one-time fee of $40. Please note that there are 4 payments in the autumn and 4 in the spring, a total of 8 payments.
All residents are required to pay a community fee of $60 which helps fund resident activities and resources.
The costs listed below are for a Standard Double Room and are based on a 21 meal meal plan (21 meals per week). The Academics section of the Student Center provides quick access to information on academic advice. Select from the drop-down menu to view advisor grades, course history, test score summary, and credit overdraft report.
California State University Long Beach
Counselor Notes allow counselors to create ongoing notes with counseling terms. Notes are primarily used to provide information to the student and other supervisors who work with the student. Students may access this information through the Student Center, email contact, or through the FERPA disclosure process. Note: Advisors may also choose to send notes to their preferred email address.
Click Advisor Indicators in the drop-down menu. If your advisor has written a note, you will be able to see it.
If you select Advisor Notes from the drop-down menu and there is no note, you will see the following message:
California State University
The new Course History page shows all credits for a course through online registration or transfer. The icons are used to indicate the status of the course. The grid also allows display and layout options. You can convert the web to a folder by clicking the drop-down tab icon. Click Course history to see all credits, either registered or transferred.
Official Enrollment Verification Certificates can be accessed online by typing “Sing-Sign-On (SSO)” and clicking the “Verify” button. This will open the student’s self-service page for national student registration. You can download and print registration confirmation certificates as well as view registration data requested by third parties.
There are several options available to students through National Student Screening (NSC). Just click on the link based on your requirement.

You have the option of viewing only registrations in the current period or all registration conditions.

Transcription orders are handled in collaboration with Parchment. Current students can access the Parchment login portal by first logging into My Student Center and selecting “Transcript: Official” from the “Academics” drop-down menu.
If you’ve never logged into Parchment before, you’ll need to create a student account.
Transfer To A Four Year Institution
Step 2: A new parchment tab will appear. You will be prompted to enter your email address to continue. If you already have a Parchment account, you can use this email address to get started. Otherwise, you will be prompted to create a new Pergamin account.
The test result summary shows all of the student’s academic exams; Includes test ID and description, score, test date, data source, and date the data was applied to the student’s academic record. The summary can be sorted and arranged on a sheet by clicking on the sheet icon. Click on Test Results Summary to see detailed information about your test and exam results.
The transfer credit report summarizes academic performance based on (1) courses from other institutions, (2) standardized tests (eg, Advanced Placement, International Baccalaureate), and (3) other sources such as military credits. Click Transfer Credit Report to view your external credit summary and transfer details.
Beyond The Stage
You can view Transfer Credit, Course Credit by Semester, Academic Ranking, Season Statistics, and Cumulative Statistics in your Student Center by selecting “Transcript: Unofficial” from the Other Academics drop-down menu.
